Why join our network?

To become part of the MCA network, constituted of a wide variety of European professionals working on digital cultural heritage

Michael Culture strongly supports the network, federating more than 200 cultural institutions from all over Europe, including GLAMS (galleries, libraries, archives, museums), ministries, research organisations, governmental agencies, public bodies, and private organisations.

To participate in major European initiatives

Michael Culture is highly implicated in European and international projects and initiatives. As a member you will benefit from it in different ways: partners, expert group, advisory group, users board, ….

To benefit from a visibility and communication support

We support the visibility of our members and valorise their activities toward our social network and website.

To promote digital cultural collections to an European and worldwide audience

Michael Culture develops tools and services, such as the MUSEU HUB, capacity building, resources, support to digital transformation

To amplify your voices

MCA is acting as a representative of its network to support its interests thanks to advocacy activities implemented by MCA with its European partners via working groups, recommendations, statements

about European policies, priorities, initiatives, thanks to the participation of MCA to a diversity of networks, working groups, and initiatives.

How To Join MCA?

The association welcomes all types of members, including individuals, public entities, private organizations such as non-profit associations, or companies. Membership is subject to the approval of existing members, in accordance with the conditions outlined in the statutes of the Michael Culture Association. To become a member, an organization must be legally registered.
The association includes three categories of members:

  • Active members;
  • Honorary members
  • Network members;

MCA new members’ applications are proposed by the Board of Directors to the members during the annual General Assembly .
The new fees, as listed in the application form, apply from 1 January 2025. The new membership fees were approved at the Annual General Meeting on 10 June 2024.
