CRAFTED – Discovering the Mobilier National: the Research and Creation workshop

The Mobilier National is a French public institution whose mission is to support and promote French art and design. It ensures the creation and conservation of tens of thousands of pieces of furniture and objects intended to equip French public buildings.

The third and final video in the series on national furniture takes us to the Atelier de Recherche et de Création (ARC, research and creation workshop), in the Metal section. We met with Pablo Nasca who presented his background, his work on the new table for the French Council of Ministers, and the many challenges of its design. This table was presented last September at the European Heritage Days!
