The Porto Santo Charter

The Porto Santo Charter is a guiding framework established in April 2021 to promote cultural democracy across Europe. It emphasizes culture’s role in strengthening democracy and offers over 40 recommendations for policymakers, cultural and educational organizations, and citizens to foster inclusive cultural participation.

MCA participated to the conception and the writing of this document, especially contributing to the “Digital Participation” chapter.
