Save the Date – My Sporting Heritage Final Conference, 12 September 2026, Zagreb

After nearly three years of research, collaboration, and discovery, the My Sporting Heritage project is reaching its final step. The virtual exhibition – created by MCA to explore stories and images that bring to life the events, places, and people who shaped the history of European sport – can be visited at https://my-sporting-heritage.eu/virtual-exhibition.  

Join us for the Final Conference of the My Sporting Heritage project, where partners, researchers, heritage professionals, educators, and sport enthusiasts from across Europe will come together to celebrate and discuss the project’s achievements and future perspectives.

Funded by the Erasmus+ Sport programme, My Sporting Heritage aims to identify, preserve, and promote Europe’s rich yet often overlooked sporting heritage, while strengthening a sense of European belonging through sport, culture, and shared values. Throughout the project, partners have developed research activities, educational resources, digital tools, and a virtual exhibition to make Europe’s sporting heritage more accessible to younger generations and the wider public.

The conference will be an opportunity to:
